ZEBRA- MAPLE FLOORING
This rare zebra-stripe pattern develops in Maple when it is infested by a small worm. The pin sized worm holes cause a mineral build up in the wood tissues that streak along with the prevailing grain pattern. The resulting pattern is blue-green in colour against a white sapwood or slightly grey to grey-brown heartwood. For an additional fee either all heart or all sapwood can be selected.
